Two weeks ago, I had an apple tart at the Pample Mousse Patisserie et Cafe in Redwood City, CA. The store decoration, interior and location are perfect. But, I can only give a C grade for the apple tart. The apple itself are fine, but the pastry is not crispy and it is too plain. I am not sure if a French style pastry is suppose to be plain and un-sweet ??!!!
