Cheap lunch at Panda Express, $4.8 (one item)

Today, I had Panda Express for lunch. It was like one item over half Chow Mein, and half fried rice. Their Chow Mein and fried rice are not bad compare to those in Hong Kong, seriously! It should be cleaner and healthier than those ingredients in Hong Kong as well. So, that one item was Kung Pao chicken. It was spicy. The portion for lunch was great since I did not hungry at 5 PM, and I did not get too sleepy after lunch. It was $4.80 – an affordable lunch. The cashier also let me tasted “Thai Chicken”, but it was NOT spicy at all. Wait a minute, it’s Thai Chicken, why not spicy at all ? Strange! Anyway, you know in Hong Kong or in China, or in Taiwan, there is nothing called Fortune Cookies, Kung Pao Chicken, Orange Chicken, Mandarin Chicken, Cashew Chicken, …, and etc. There are Chow Mein in Hong Kong (usually sold on the street!) and Canton of China. And, fried rice, yes. But, I think fried rice is a Cantonese food, and I am not too sure its origin.
